Why the Master Mason Mason needs to Royal Arch Exaltation

When we are raised to Master Mason Degree, we are told that due to the premature death of Hiram Abif Master, the Holy Word of Master Mason is lost, then give us substitutes secret until the original is recovered.

We know then that the Holy Word, the first and only of the Master Mason, is in custody of the Holy Royal Arch, for transmission to take this exalted level.
With some legitimacy Primary, Master Mason might ask: If the Original Word had been recovered, why not give it to us now?.


It is therefore necessary to explain why the secret needs to be received in this way.
Exaltation to the Supreme Degree of Royal Arch Mason not only transmits the original word, but does so in a ritual context that allows the Bro. Master experiencing in detail the process by which the Word was recovered.


This experience is part of the transmission, and is an experience which no Master who is in possession of the Word may be lacking.

When in the course of the Exaltation is Raised as Royal Arch Master Mason, is being hailed as a Full Master, now equipped with all the prerogatives initiation that corresponds to a Master Mason.

It is then understood that it is impossible that something of this magnitude is given without Transmission, ritual, true and legitimate, the subtle movement that will able to open stages of initiation notable  in to the recipient.

So no validity whatsoever otherwise access to the Word, if there is no legitimate transmission, there is no ritual operation on it, and will have no qualitative effect on who gets it.

Along with this, the Exaltation offers the newest member of the Masonic life peculiar Royal Arch  Companion, this encompasses all the virtues of symbolism, but from a richly spiritual.
